 Hi, I am Ali­cia Gomez! 

This web­site show­cas­es some of my accom­plish­ments dur­ing my time as a jour­nal­ism major at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Con­necti­cut. Here, you can find my writ­ten work, mul­ti­me­dia projects and resume. 

This sum­mer, I wrote for the Con­necti­cut Exam­in­er, an online local and statewide news­pa­per. That expe­ri­ence and work­ing for UCon­n’s stu­dent news­pa­per The Dai­ly Cam­pus have giv­en me a sol­id foun­da­tion in writ­ing about many dif­fer­ent top­ics, from arti­fi­cial intel­li­gence to crime to local news.

Addi­tion­al­ly, through­out my col­lege career as a jour­nal­ism major at UConn, I have devel­oped a love for dif­fer­ent forms of media and news dis­sem­i­na­tion, such as pod­cast­ing, broad­cast jour­nal­ism and newslet­ter pub­li­ca­tion, which you can find exam­ples of in my portfolio.
