Welcome

Amaree Love is a driven and passionate aspiring journalist hailing from the University of Connecticut. With a keen eye for storytelling and a determination to succeed, Amaree’s professional experience includes an internship with Pearl Dream, a company specializing in digital design. This experience has added a valuable dimension to her skill set, complementing her journalism aspirations.

As a journalism major and entrepreneurship minor at UConn,  Amaree works as a news reporter at The Daily Campus, UConn’s student run newspaper.

Amaree’s love for sports has been a guiding force throughout her life. Being a dedicated tennis player since her early years,  this passion translates seamlessly into her sports writing. Amaree’s ultimate goal is to become a feature producer, a role that will allow her to showcase her storytelling abilities and bring narratives to life.

Amaree was awarded UConn Journalism’s Dave Solomon Scholarship in 2023, along with the John Breen Journalism Scholarship in 2022.
