Campus vigilance: Protecting against evolving email scams

Reports of poten­tial­ly mali­cious emails cir­cu­lat­ing on the Storrs cam­pus of the Uni­ver­si­ty of Con­necti­cut have increased in fre­quen­cy com­pared to pre­vi­ous years. This surge in sus­pi­cious elec­tron­ic com­mu­ni­ca­tions has prompt­ed height­ened vig­i­lance among both stu­dents and fac­ul­ty. The Dai­ly Cam­pus con­duct­ed an inter­view with Michael Mundrane Ph.D., Vice pres­i­dent for infor­ma­tion tech­nol­o­gy and chief infor­ma­tion offi­cer.
