Uni­ver­si­ty of Con­necti­cut Stu­dent, Hal­lie Letendre, 21, is out­side of Oak Hall after enjoy­ing a Fri­day off from her usu­al busy class routines.

Hal­lie Letendre is a Senior, major­ing in Jour­nal­ism and is Pres­i­dent of the Soci­ety of Pro­fes­sion­al Jour­nal­ists. “ My sched­ule is always super busy,” LeTendre said after explain­ing her role as Staff Writer for Dai­ly Cam­pus and Pres­i­den­cy for her club. “It’s nice to just have some down­time” as she relax­es on one of the bench­es outside.


Architecture: UConn “Science 1” Building

STORRS, CT— On Sept.12, 2:30 p.m., this pho­to­graph shows the “Sci­ence 1” build­ing new­ly built by the Uni­ver­si­ty of Con­necti­cut for the main campus.

It is 198,000-square foot and it was rough­ly about $220 mil­lion to make. UConn Pres­i­dent Raden­ka Mar­ic said the new build­ing is “trans­form­ing the way we edu­cate”, and will help stu­dents succeed.
