Some par\u00adtic\u00adi\u00adpants wore tra\u00addi\u00adtion\u00adal regalia while singing out\u00adside of the St. James Chap\u00adple in Charlestown, Rhode Island. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomaquagmuseum.org\/home\">Tomaquag Muse\u00adum<\/a> orga\u00adnized a Cran\u00adber\u00adry Thanks\u00adgiv\u00ading cel\u00ade\u00adbra\u00adtion with tribes from all over the north\u00adeast\u00adern region in atten\u00addance on Oct. 4, 2025. The cel\u00ade\u00adbra\u00adtion hap\u00adpens in accor\u00addance with the <a href=\"https:\/\/static1.squarespace.com\/static\/52c6cfe3e4b02b1e85cae962\/t\/695dd88b6cf7980da54970c1\/1767757963420\/2023+OCT+EDC+NEWS+PDF.pdf\">Har\u00advest Moon<\/a> with\u00adin the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomaquagmuseum.org\/runner23\">13 moons or thanks\u00adgiv\u00adings.<\/a> The thanks\u00adgiv\u00ading event is part of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomaquagmuseum.org\/runner23\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.tomaquagmuseum.org\/runner23\">year\u2019s worth <\/a>of giv\u00ading thanks cel\u00ade\u00adbrat\u00aded by tribes like the Nar\u00adra\u00adgansett, Mash\u00adpee Wampanoag, Mashan\u00adtuck\u00adet Pequot, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The thanks\u00adgiv\u00ading is meant to cel\u00ade\u00adbrate that \u201call the things that have been grown are get\u00adting ready to be har\u00advest\u00aded and dried and stored for the win\u00adter to come,\u201d accord\u00ading to Chrys\u00adtal Mars Bak\u00ader, the edu\u00adca\u00adtion We may have changed. We are wear\u00ading con\u00adtem\u00adpo\u00adrary clothes, we have 9\u2011to\u20115 jobs, we live in homes, but we are edu\u00adcat\u00ading about the loss or the dis\u00adplace\u00adment,\u201d Bak\u00ader said. \u201cWe are break\u00ading the myth that there was only one Thanks\u00adgiv\u00ading. It\u2019s break\u00ading the myth that it hap\u00adpened in Novem\u00adber.
