The Harry A. Gampel Pavillion opened its doors in   January of 1990, and has remained a home for the UConn Men and Women's basketball teams.

Lau­ren Tor­tori­ci, a Senior-Year Allied Health Sci­ences Major

Lauren, who is graduating in December with a degree in Allied Health Sciences, sits at the edge of her favorite on-campus spot, Mirror Lake, and reflects on her undergraduate years.

For the first time of her last semester at UConn, she visits her favorite place to eat on-campus, Dog Lane Cafe. She says  she almost always orders their famous vegetarian chili.

It was a very emotional moment for Lauren as she sat down and learned of her acceptance to the Chiropractic program at the University of Bridgeport.

She will be attend­ing grad­u­ate school there start­ing in the Spring of 2015. Although she has an end­less stream of great mem­o­ries as an under­grad­u­ate stu­dent at UConn, she looks for­ward to the future and start­ing her career.
