In episode one of “Notes on Jour­nal­ism” I sit down with UConn pro­fes­sor Steven Kalb to dis­cuss some of the dif­fer­ences between today’s broad­cast jour­nal­ism and how it was dif­fer­ent when he was in the busi­ness, why the pop­u­lar­i­ty of broad­cast jour­nal­ism has fall­en, and what can be done to bring trust and view­ers back to the radio waves and tele­vi­sion screen.
