Welcome to Ktalks, the podcast where we dive into the most pressing issues impacting the UConn community—students, faculty, and beyond. I’m your host, Kausshik, and in today’s episode, we’re tackling a topic that’s been top of mind for many students: the ongoing housing shortage at UConn.

As enrollment numbers steadily rise, the demand for on-campus housing has become more intense, leaving many students scrambling for a place to live. But what’s really causing this shortage, and what steps is the university taking to address it?

To help us understand the situation, we’re joined by Will Hodges, a second-year sophomore who has been closely involved with UConn’s housing services. Will, thank you so much for being here—it’s great to have you on!

We’ll dive into all the details, from the current state of housing to what can be done moving forward, so stay tuned!
