Video: Hartford protesters share what “No King” means to them

HARTFORD — Mil­lions gath­ered in cities across the coun­try to par­tic­i­pate in the sec­ond “No Kings” protest on Oct. 18, 2025. Con­necti­cut res­i­dents gath­ered around the capi­tol build­ing bear­ing signs with dis­ap­prov­ing mes­sages toward Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump and his actions since return­ing to the White House last year. In addi­tion to car­ry­ing signs, some pro­tes­tors attend­ed the event in blow-up suits and cos­tumes, emu­lat­ing the protests in Port­land, Ore­gon. A few Con­necti­cut pro­tes­tors shared what hav­ing no king means to them.
