My pho­tog­ra­phy and Insta­gram con­tent cre­ation page cap­tures my UConn jour­nal­ism course­work along with pho­tog­ra­phy sam­ples from my intern­ship with UConn Ath­let­ics. Most of my work is done by using my IPhone cam­era. The pho­tos are edit­ed either on Adobe Pho­to­shop or Slate.

Instagram Stories

Dur­ing my intern­ship with UConn Ath­let­ics, I was respon­si­ble for pro­duc­ing live game updates via Insta­gram Sto­ries. I cap­tured real-time pho­to and video con­tent through­out each game to engage fans and enhance the dig­i­tal expe­ri­ence. Using the Slate app, I edit­ed and brand­ed the con­tent to ensure it matched UConn’s visu­al brand.

Portraiture: Warm October weather worries UConn student

I inter­viewed Uni­ver­si­ty of Con­necti­cut stu­dent, Talia Green­spoon, 20, about her per­spec­tive on cli­mate change. Green­spoon is a junior and a com­mu­ni­ca­tions major at the Storrs cam­pus. UConn stu­dent Talia Green­spoon enjoys the weath­er on Horse­barn Hill while dis­cussing cli­mate change. Green­spoon said schools should inte­grate envi­ron­men­tal edu­ca­tion into their cur­ricu­lum to help stu­dents under­stand the sci­ence behind cli­mate change and its real-world impli­ca­tions. When it comes to UConn, she thinks the uni­ver­si­ty is doing a good job at increas­ing aware­ness among stu­dents.
