Welcome

My port­fo­lio is a sam­pling of my work as a jour­nal­ist and sto­ry­teller. I am a recent grad­u­ate from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Con­necti­cut with a degree in jour­nal­ism and phi­los­o­phy. I am pur­su­ing a career in writ­ten com­mu­ni­ca­tions and news reporting.

I am inter­est­ed in peo­ple and their stories—big or small. I grew up with a high school Eng­lish teacher for a moth­er, so the pow­er of lan­guage was nev­er lost on me. 

I cur­rent­ly work in edu­ca­tion com­mu­ni­ca­tions with Holdsworth Com­mu­ni­ca­tions. Pri­or to this, I worked as a news cor­re­spon­dent for UCon­n’s stu­dent-run news­pa­per, The Dai­ly Cam­pus and as a Writ­ten Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Assis­tant for the Uni­ver­si­ty of Con­necti­cut Mate­ri­als Sci­ence and Engi­neer­ing Depart­ment. I show­case some of the fea­tures and news sto­ries about the Depart­ment on my web­site. Dur­ing the sum­mer of 2021, I interned as a Pub­lic Rela­tions and Com­mu­ni­ca­tions intern for Holdsworth Com­mu­ni­ca­tions. 

I am pas­sion­ate about and well-versed in a wide-range of top­ics from pol­i­tics, sports, law, cul­ture, the envi­ron­ment, and edu­ca­tion. See my Writ­ten Work page for more on these topics.
