About Me

About Me

I am recent graduate (2019) of the University of Connecticut with bachelor’s degrees in journalism and political science.

Currently I work with the Greek America Foundation, a New York-based non-profit organization that promotes Greek culture and ideals via fundraising, educational/volunteer programs and various philanthropic initiatives. I also contribute writing and other social media content for The Pappas Post, an online medium dedicated to news and information from throughout the Greek world.

Through my past experience as the News Director at UConn’s WHUS Radio (91.7 FM) and through my journalism coursework, I’ve gained valuable expertise in organization, writing, photography, broadcasting and interpersonal communication. Likewise, my political science courses have helped me to develop critical thinking and analytical skills.

My interest in journalism is rooted in my curiosity, attention to detail and love for storytelling. I find great joy in meeting and communicating with new people. Political science appeals to me because it encompasses various issues and examines how they affect our societies.

Aside from work and academia, I have a passion for foreign languages, travel, photography and guitar
